That means it's time to buckle down as the playoff picture is finally taking shape. 3 Teams have clinched a playoff berth, with one team locking down a Bye week in the first round. Let's break down the rankings heading into this final month.

• Has also secured not only a playoff berth but the a bye week in the process

• Team Day to Day stands at the second position in our rankings with 18,700 fpts.
• Just 39 fpts behind Team High Flyer
• Also has the second best winning streak at 6 wins
• Ball-Till-U-Fall who was leading the Rankings last week has now dropped to 3rd
• Still has a very strong 18,195 fpts in the league, just 5 short of Team Day to Day
• The race for 2nd place (and the second bye week) is insanely close
• Bench Mobbin and Moby 773 have both unfortunately fallen out of the playoff race
• However were both quick to vote on the playoff number of teams poll - so appreciate staying active fellas!
• Nauman's Nifty team unfortunately holds the title for longest losing streak of 6

 Sorry for those who read these that it's been so long since I posted. We only have 4 more weeks before the playoffs and I'll make sure to post the rankings for the remainder of the league. A lot has changed since my last posting - so lets jump right into it!

• Keep an eye on this team to overtake 2nd or 1st place in the final four weeks
• Also has the second largest win streak with 6 straight
• IA Wemby Stays Healthy is showing to be a true pretender - lost 4 straight and is in 4th place after being ahead in the league
• Bench Mobbin is in last place in the league, and unfortunately wont qualify for the playoffs despite having a 2 win streak
• Nauman's nifty Team has the longest losing streak with 5.
• Moby 773 also will not qualify for the playoffs this season

• The number 1 spot is up for grabs! IA Wemby Stays Healthy only has a minor lead over the second spot team, Team Day to Day, who is inching closer to the top spot day to day!
• Hot on Team Day to Day's heels is also team High Flyer who are only 245 fpts behind the second spot and 277 fpts behind the top spot!
• They are also on the longest current winning streak with 5 straight wins! Watch out!
• Ball-Till-U-Fall also has a very narrow edge against team Umz Pistons
• BTUF only leads by 31 fpts
• Bench Mobbin is making sure all other teams have a chance with 7 straight losses
• This league was designed for managers who prefer to be AFK, but Bench Mobbin may be TKO at this point.

There's a great chance for an absolute shake up in the rankings after this pivotal week. I'll keep you all posted next week

• IA Wemby Stays Healthy continues domination over the league however...Wemby is no longer healthy
• Sources say a trade is coming.
• Bench Mobbin is currently in last place in the rankings and has yet to win a weak
• Seriously - what could possibly be more important than this league. It's not like you have other priorities at home and have to manage a new born or something - the audacity of some of these league managers
• Team High Flyer has currently had the toughest schedule in the league.
• Despite the tough schedule, they've won 3 weeks in a row
• Aqeel's Net Positive is currently showing a net negative in Points Scored vs Points Allowed
• That is what we call in the biz Irony. Or bad planning. I forget the song.

Don't forget all - Trade work make the dream work. So if your team is struggling, offer trades! Who knows, you might net Wemby (hint - i'm looking to trade wemby)

• more impressive here is the massive 537 point lead over second place team Nauman's Nifty Team
• Umz Pistons may be ranked 4th overall in these rankings but currently holds the the best record in the league with 3 straight wins. Getting it done!
• Knickerboxer and Team Khanquerer have yet to win a game this season however points wise they are in the middle of the pack which means it's only a matter of time before the wins start coming.
• Khanquerer has had the second hardest schedule so far
• Knickerboxer has had the third hardest schedule so far
• High Flyer has had the hardest schedule thus far but has been able to walk away with 1 win.
• The Jokic Express has thus far had the easiest schedule into this season

Only 3 weeks in so plenty of time to make changes, trades, and adjustments as we get into the nitty gritty of the season. Lets keep it up!

• Nauman's Nifty Team trails behind IA Wemby Stays Healthy by a mere 39fpts
• Moby 773 is currently sitting in last place in these power rankings with 1826 fpts
• This is despite notching a win this week.
• Aqeel's Net Positive has had a huge drop in the rankings due to loss of Luka and Zion

The first week of the league is finally behind us, and with that comes early looks at the success of this season's teams. Below is my version of the power rankings. ESPN has its own designation of power rankings based on Wins and Losses, however I feel this is often misleading as it doesn't truly take account the strength of a team. My power rankings are based on how many fantasy points a team generates which I think better translates to "which team is best", regardless of record. You can find the ranking below as well as my insights:

Insights:

• Nauman's Nifty Team takes the top spot to start the season, scoring 1171 fantasy points in the first week.
  • That’s 40 FPTS more than second-place team Ball-Till-U-Fall.
• Moby 773 had a tough week, scoring only 748 FPTS.
  • To be fair, Moby 773 also faced off against Nauman's Nifty Team — creating a massive scoring discrepancy for Week 1.
• Team Khanqueror looks like a top-5 caliber roster despite taking an L.
  • There’s a clear production gap between Team Khanqueror and 6th-place team The Jokic Express.
• A total of 24 waiver pickups were made in Week 1 across 10 teams.
  • That’s nearly 2 per team — showing a healthy, active league right from the jump.

Not much else to comment on for this first week, but as the season develops and the playoff picture takes shape, expect the insights to get spicier. Good luck to everyone in Week 2!
